Nuel Loyd Mayfield
Neul Loyd Mayfield, 74, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 26, 2015 at his home.
Neul was born July 1, 1940 the son of Herman and Para Mayfield in Lamar, Mo. Nuel enjoyed traveling, cooking and carpentry work.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charles Mayfield; and a sister, Arlene Wimsett.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy, of the home; son, Steven (Belinda) Mayfield; daughters, Shari (Ricky) Burks and Cathy (Brian) Kindle; step-sons, John (Emily) and Fernando Lopez; step-daughter, Nena (Eric) McKown; sister, Nadine Sanders; brother, Bob (Peggy) Mayfield; and six grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 6 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Flack Memorial Church, with Randy Mitchell officiating.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
