Nicholas R. Preuitt
Nicholas R. Preuitt, 27, of Kearney, Mo., passed away unexpectedly early Sunday morning, December 28, 2014, surrounded by friends. He was born January 2, 1987 in Independence, Mo., the son of Becky (Preuitt) Barber and stepfather, Buzz Barber.
He is survived in death by his parents and stepsister, Brandi Roberts; grandmother, Frankie Johnson; other grandparents, great aunt, uncles and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved two year old Yorkie, Remy.
He was a 2005 Kearney High School graduate. He had a love for cars and was a proud member of the Ford Motor Company Claycomo Plant for eight years. He will forever be remembered and his spirit will continue to be alive in our hearts. He was dearly loved and will be missed by many.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a Memorial Service at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2015 at the Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Kearney, Mo. Burial will follow at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery, also in Kearney, Mo. The family will receive guests for a celebration dinner at the Annunciation of the Knights of Columbus Community Center in Kearney, Mo., immediately following graveside services.
