Neva Stone
Neva Pearl Stone, 97, Excelsior Springs, Mo., died Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010.
Ms. Stone was born June 6, 1913, the daughter of George and Lucy Cox Bashaw. She attended the First Baptist Church of Excelsior Springs. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Homer Dean Stone; and her husband, Homer Earl Stone. Survivors include one son, Charles Lewis Stone; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, Dec. 17, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday, also at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crowley Cemetery, Rayville.
