Opal Sims
Opal Sims, 78, Excelsior Springs, Mo. passed away June 7, 2010. Mrs. Sims was born April 12, 1932, in Cameron, Mo. to Claude and Dewey Tate Colley. She was a horse trainer. Along with her parents, Mrs. Sims is preceded in death by a sibling and husband Frank Sims. She is survived by daughter and husband Janet and Chris Kennedy and granddaughter Madison. Funeral services will be held at Thursday, June 10 at 10 a.m. at the Ferrelview Christian Church in Ferrelview, Mo. Burial will follow in the Second Creek Cemetary. Friends may call from 6-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, June 9 at the Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
