Peggy Joan Cole
Peggy Joan (Corbin) Cole, 84, passed away November 20, 2016.
Peggy was born September 11, 1932, in Greenbrier, Mo., to Clyde and Pearl Corbin. She married Harold B. Cole on July 20, 1963 in Anchorage, Alaska. Peggy and Harold made their home in Independence, Mo., where a daughter, Samantha (Cole) Burks was born. Peggy and Harold later moved to Kearney, Mo. Peggy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a proud homemaker.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.
She is survived by daughter, Samantha (Cole) Burks and Mike; grandsons, Cory Burks and Jacob Burks; great-granddaughter, Harlan Burks; two sisters, Betty Cato and Willadean Lloyd; and step-son, Dale and Brenda Cole.
Peggy was a member of Arley United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Arley United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Arley Cemetery in Kearney, Mo.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney.
