Paul L. Jamison
Paul L. Jamison, 87, died March 16, 2016 in his home.
He was born May 10, 1928 to Jesse and Effie Jamison in Parkville, Mo. He married Lou Ann Vassmer on April 4, 1959. They were married almost 57 years. She survives of the home.
Paul served in the army during the Korean War, earning two bronze stars.
He retired from Richards and Conover Steel Company, where he worked as a flame cutter, to farm full-time with his wife, Lou Ann.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Tom Jamison.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Paul (Barbara) Jamison and William Jamison. He leaves behind a niece and several nephews, Mike (Cheryl) Vassmer, Patricia (Freddie) Vanderpool, Thomas Jamison, and Robert (Shelle) Vassmer. He also had three grandsons, M. Brent (Katelyn) Jamison, Jason Jamison, and Jesse Jamison.
Visitation is from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Woods Memorial Christian Church, 417 Concourse Avenue, Excelsior Springs, MO 64024. Services to immediately follow.
Family suggests donations to Woods Memorial Christian Church in lieu of flowers.
