Patricia Urness
Patricia Urness was born May 13, 1953 in Kansas City, Mo. She passed away May 10, 2016, 3 days shy of her 63rd birthday.
She graduated from North Kansas City High School in 1971 where she met and married her high school sweetheart, Andrew Urness.
Patricia Urness was a devoted wife and mother with two sons, Benjamin and Adam. She was the type of person that everyone strives to be. She was always quick with help, advice, and a kind word for all she encountered. She never met a stranger and created every relationship with a bond that lasted for life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Frike and Geraldine McGinnis, and 12 siblings.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Urness; son, Benjamin Urness and wife, Jayna Urness; son, A. Adam Urness; grandson, Jackson Patrick Urness; brothers, Daniel Frike and Mark Frike; sister, Dorothy Bingham and husband, Frank Bingham; and several nieces and nephews
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 13, 2016, also at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Kansas City, Mo.
