Robert Lewis Berndt
Robert "Bob" Lewis Berndt, 69, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away March 6, 2016.
Bob was born January 28, 1947 to Elson and Melva Berndt in Liberty, Mo. Bob enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and baseball. He worked as a journeyman lineman for Missouri Power and Light. He had also worked for the Clay County Highway Deparment. He was a member of Local 53.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob is survived by his children, sons, Monty Ray (Jennifer), Roman Christopher (Ann), Craig Allen (Amanda), Mark Allen (Jessica), Jeff Zirjacks; daughters, Mandy Berndt and Kristi Flack; grandchildren, Jenilee, Mitchell, Morgan, Ruby Mae, Shannon, Whyatt, Emily Grace, Madyson, Jaci, Joshua, Cody, Zack and Mollie; great grandchildren, Gauge and Lane; brother, Elson Gene (Rita) Berndt; sister, Paulette Misel; and Marla Berndt.
A memorial visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Saturday, March 12, 2016, followed by memorial service at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Burial will follow at Missouri City Cemetery, Missouri City, Mo.
