Ronald Dean Gustafson

Ronald Dean Gustafson died at 75 years on Sunday, May 4, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Edith Gustafson, and brothers, Phillip, Duane, and Gary Gustafson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ann (Grandchamp) Gustafson; daughter, Tiffany Ferrugia and husband, Ed of Kearney, Mo.; son, Trent and wife, Melissa Gustafson of Charlotte, N.C.; brother, Jim Gustafson; grandchildren, Erica Fisk and husband, Ray of Carrollton, Texas, Hayden Johnson of Kearney, Mo., Anna and Marks Gustafson of Charlotte, N.C.; and one great granddaughter, Ryan Izabella Fisk of Carrollton, Texas.

Ron and Ann were married in Clinton, Iowa. In 1962 they moved to the Orange County area of Southern California where Ron began a career in sales with Navajo Freight Lines. Navajo transferred him to Kansas City, Mo., and later he became the vice president of sales with Churchill Truck Lines, retiring in 1988.

Ron was cremated and a private memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Liberty Hospital Hospice Care, 1134 W. Kansas Street, Liberty, MO. 64069.
