Ruby Lois Lana
Ruby Lois Lana, 84, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014.
Ruby was born December 1, 1929 to Joseph and Lula Cates in Lawson, Mo. She was a member of The Assembley of God Church. Ruby worked many years at Excelsior Convalescent Home and Excelsior Laundry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Loren James Lana; three brothers and one sister.
She is survived by her son, Ron and wife, Judy Lana; brothers, Gene, Dan and Carl Cates; grandchildren, Jennifer Ramsey and Ronald D. Lana Jr.; and seven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2014 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs, with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to services. Burial will follow at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
