Richard W. Rogers
5/7/1939 ~ 10/29/2015
Richard was born May 7, 1939 in Vibbard, Mo., to Huey and Mabel Bales Rogers. He grew up and lived most of his life in Excelsior Springs, first working in electrical construction then in electrical sales. Richard enjoyed helping others and spent many weekends and evenings helping friends and relatives.
He was proceeded in death by a daughter, Shelvina; his parents; one brother and three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Linda June Marxen; daughter, Schranda Griffin; step daughter, Hillery Heigel; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
The family will be having a celebration of life on November 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Wood Heights City Hall located at 2098 East Ridge Drive.
In lieu of flowers please make contributions to the Excelsior Springs Hospice.
Arrangements are through Bross Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
