Robert Edward Stephan
Robert E. (Bob) Stephan, 92, Excelsior Springs, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012. Bob was born August 14, 1920 to Charles E. and Bessie Alice Campbell Stephan in Arcadia, Kans. He was a World War II Navy veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He was owner of City Electrical and Industrial Company. Bob was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Maxine; daughter and husband, Marilyn J. Dubin and Doug; sons and wives, Gregory K. Stephan and Cheryle, and Jeffery S. Stephan and Leannette; and brother and wife, Jack M. Stephan and Marge; five grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, Excelsior Springs. Friend may call from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to service at the church. Burial will be in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mount Calvary Library Fund.
