Rose Alyce Green
Rose Alyce Green, 80, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away January 26, 2015.
Rose was born April 22, 1934 in Sedalia, Mo., to Rev. James R. and Charlotte J. (Palmer) Sumners. Rose was a homemaker. She was a member of Salem Christian Union Church. Rose loved her church and was always an active member. Rose also loved playing dominoes and looked forward to playing with her friends. Most of all, Rose loved her family. Her great grandchildren were her pride and joy.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents and her husband of 61 years, Robert.
Survivors include her daughter, Deborah Michele Ross and husband, Bob; son, Denzel Mark Green; grandchildren, Jake and April Ross and Tyler, Jim and Sharon Ross and Wyatt, Brooklyn, and Hayden, as well as four other grandchildren and two other great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow service at Salem Cemetery, also in Excelsior Springs.
Arrangements are through Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs.
