Sharon Lee Moody
Sharon Lee Moody, 67, of Kearney, Mo., passed away April 22, 2015 at her home.
Sharon was born March 8, 1948 in St. Louis, Mo., to Elvie and Alfreda Howard Hornback. She married the love of her life, Bill, in 1968. She was very active working for Western Union Telegraph, caretaker for a church camp, and a truck driver. Sharon loved hunting, fishing, gardening and many other outdoor activities. She was a member of the West Tracy Church of Christ in Excelsior Springs.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Bill Moody; daughter and husband, Jennifer S. Wideman and Scott; son, William David Moody Jr.; grandchildren, Andrew and Emily; two sisters, Lynn Maples and D.D. Broadhead; two brothers, Steven Hornback and Dean Hornback; numerous other family members; and her dog, Cricket.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Cremation. Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m., May 16, 2015 at West Tracy Church of Christ, Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Arrangements are through Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Kearney, Mo.
