Shirley Gene VanBebber
Shirley Gene VanBebber, 85, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away July 15, 2013.
Shirley was born November 8, 1927 to Lloy and Eula B. Gooch in Clifton Hill, Mo. She married Raymond T. VanBebber on September 18, 1948. Shirley worked as a phone operator for Southwestern Bell before retiring. She was a long time member of St. Ann Catholic Church.
She is survived by her three daughters, Linda(William) Gray, Gail (Robert) Bissell, and Becky (John) Arnold, all of Liberty, Mo.; sister-in-law, Phyllis Miller of Tallahassee, Fla.; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, James Milton Gooch, and husband, Raymond.
Rosary will be said at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 18, 2013 at St. Ann Catholic Church, followed by visitation. Funeral Mass will begin at 2 p.m., burial following at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Mo. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the church.
