Seldon Gene Vannattan
Seldon Gene "Big Rocky" Vannattan, of Rayville, Mo., passed away June 3, 2015 at the age of 53, at North Kansas City Hospital, surrounded by family and friends.
Rocky was born on November 23, 1961 in Kansas City, Mo., to Taylor Vannattan Sr. and Catherine (Hamilton) Vannattan. Rocky worked as a sandblaster and also as a car detailer/mechanic. Rocky was a family man who loved to pass afternoons away with his grandkids and his closest family and friends. He loved working on cars and tinkering with things that some thought were passed their days. In hist most recent days, he loved to take long strolls through town and getting lost in the latest issue of Popular Science.
Rock was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Taylor Eugene Vannattan Jr.
Survivors include is daughters, Amanda and Brandy; sons, Rocky, Daniel and daughter-in-law, Ashley; grandchildren, R.J., Gabrielle and Emmali. He also leaves a loving sister, Susie Langdon.
Cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date.
