Vera Dagley
Vera Fern Ashcraft Dagley, 82, Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away August 10, 2012 at the Excelsior Springs Convalescent Center. Vera was born December 25, 1929 to James Robert and Mattie Lee Ashcraft.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, David E.; and son, Donald Glen Dagley. She was the last living of 16 children.
Survivors include sons, David R. (Pat), Howard Dean (Susan), and Daniel T. Dagley; one daughter, Arlene (Jody) Wisecup; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012 at the funeral home, with burial following in Crown Hill Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Mosby Baptist Church.
