Wanda Lee Shepard
Wanda Lee Shepard, 81, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away February 22, 2015.
Wanda was born June 28, 1933 in Excelsior Springs, Mo., to Clyde and Opal (Wade) O’Dell. On March 26, 1949 she married Lyle Shepard. Wanda was a member of Old Salem Christian Union Church. She was a woman who loved reading her Bible and playing the piano.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Wayne and Terry; and brothers, Jack O’Dell and Ernest Headle.
Survivors include her husband, Lyle; son, Will and Lenora Shepard; two brothers, Clyde O’Dell Jr. and Harold Dean O’Dell; daughter in laws, Juanita and Sabra Shepard; seven grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
