Evelyn J. Barb passed away September 12, 2018. She was born in Sedalia, Mo., to Edward and Grace Williams on February 1, 1924. She married Earl Barb on July 7, 1943 and together they had seven children.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl, and infant son, Danny; brothers, Chloe and Herbert Williams; and sisters, Ruth Barb and Betty Klein.
She leaves behind sisters, Lorretta Harms and Gwendolyn Duncan; six children, Gary (Mary Ann) Barb, Dennis Barb, Kathy (Don) Howe, Carolyn Jordan, Susanne (Danny) Lewellen, and Mary Ruth Barb; 11 grandchildren, Melissa (Michael) Rountree, Matthew (Christy) Barb, Jaime (Bill) East, Jodi (Jeff) Boring, Chris Howe, Amy (Justin) Morgan, Jeremy (Charina) Jordan, Jeneane Gipson, Brenton Young and Erin (Marcus) Thomas, and Leslie (Joshua) Steward; 19 great grandchildren, Nicholas and Mollie Rountree, Ally and Chandler Barb, David Seifert, Kaitlyn and Ethan Boring, Paiton, Gunnar and Jinx Howe, Cody and Aprylle Morgan, Rocky and Truly Mulin, Racheal and Katelyn Gipson, Conor Young and Ryan Thomas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 15, 2018 at Prathersville Bible Church in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Lincoln, Mo.
