Janice Ann Hopkins, 82, Holt, MO, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2026 at home with her kids by her side.
Janice was born on September 15, 1943 in Kansas City, MO. She lived a long and happy life. Her biggest joy was being with her family. She will always and forever be in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion L. Hopkins; parents, William E. and Hazel B. Beechner; and son-in-law, Steven B. Jones, Sr.
She is survived by her children, Barbara Jones, Betty (Jeff) Garton, Joe (Kelly) Donaldson; grandkids, Troy (Missy) Jones, Stephanie (Mike) McBee, Steven (Michelle) Jones, Tracy Garton, J.D. Garton, Evan Donaldson, and Kyle (Skylar) Donaldson; great grandkids, Layla, J.J., Audrey, Ashton, Aysia, Malachi, Teagan, Addy, Ava, Zander, Mason, Taylor, Braxton and Lane.
A visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10 to 11 a.m. with service following at Holt United Methodist Church. The family suggests memorial contributions to the church.
