Lonnie Dravenstott, 78, Lawson, Mo., passed away January 31, 2017.
Lonnie was born November 23, 1938 to Charles and Georgia (Mallory) Dravenstott in Henrietta, Mo. He married Larenda Pennington on December 30, 1968. He was a carpenter by trade and owned L.D. Construction for 31 years. He was a member of Lawson Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching the Royals/Chiefs games. He adored his grandchildren and his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and four sisters.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Larenda; daughters, Faydonna (Brandon) Heath and Heather (Neil) Chapman, and grandchildren, Grant Heath, Lane, Landry, and Logan Chapman, all of Lawson, Mo.; and a sister, Georgia Guenther of Lee’s Summit, Mo.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 2, 2017 at Lawson Baptist Church. Funeral service conducted by Brother Paul Wood and Brother Jesse Gilliam at 1 p.m., Friday February 3, 2017, also at the church with burial following at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, Mo.
The family suggest in lieu of flowers memorial contributions to Lawson Fire and Rescue Protection District.
