Geronda May Oliver, 62, was born in Kansas City, Mo., to Johnnie A. Vannattan and Zelpha P. “Hamilton” Vannattan. She had one older brother, Roger Vannattan.
In 1972 she married James G. Beach. They had five children, Zelpha Beach Rodgers, Johnnie Beach, Jason Beach, Jeremy Beach, and Joshua Beach. Of these five children came 18 grandkids and four great grandkids.
She worked mostly as a parking garage attendant. She loved being around people exchanging stories.
She spent countless hours doing crafts. She liked to crochet, macramé, needle point, paint, color, bake — just about any type of craft.
