Charlotte Mae Hartman,78, of Lawson, Mo., passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2018.
Charlotte was born October 26, 1939 to Ferman and Bernice (Clevenger) Melling in Excelsior Springs, Mo. She graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1957. On June 15, 1958 she married Robert W. Hartman Sr.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Hartman Sr., her parents, and one sister, Suzie Melling.
She is survived by son, Wayne and Debbie Hartman of Lawson; daughter, Vikki Newman of Lawson; sister, Sharon and Johnnie Myers of Lawson; brothers, Ronnie and Vicki Melling of North Kansas City, and Buddy Melling of Kansas City; grandchildren, Seth Hartman and his wife Adriel, Shannon and husband Garrett Holt, Tucker and Emily Hartman, Hannah Newman, Tyler Newman; great grandchildren, Oakley, Chesni, and Ruby Hartman, and Trace Milko. Charlotte is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018 at Lawson Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the church, followed by burial at Lawson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
