John L. Horn, 83, Kearney, Mo., passed away March 10, 2018 surrounded by his family. John was born on February 12, 1935 on his family farm in Ray County, Mo. He worked for Hunt Midwest for 35 years, as well as owned and operated his own quarry. He was also a lifelong farmer.
John is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Margaret A. Horn, and several siblings.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Horn; sons, Kent (Christina) Horn, Greg (Penny) Horn, Doug (Terry) Horn, and Kenny (Robin) Horn; daughters, Sandy LaScuola, Pat Wilkerson and Lisa (Rick) Felton; sisters, Joyce Anderson, Romalee Johnson, and Faye Horn; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Fry-Bross & Spidle Funeral Home with service immediately following. Burial at Lick Fork Cemetery in Gallatin, Mo.
