Alice Faye (Stewart) Stevenson, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on Saturday, May 5, 2018. She was born August 1, 1945 to James and Alice Ida Mae Stewart at North Kansas City Hospital. On August 16, 1963 she married the love of her life, John T. Stevenson. Alice Faye enjoyed spending time with all her family and making others smile.
Survivors include her husband, John Thomas; their two daughters, Teresa Bernard (Victor) and Loretta Covey (Ricky); two sons, Richard Stevenson and Little John Stevenson; nine grandchildren, L.J., Brooke, Richie, Tori, Jeremy, Patrick, Nick, Taylor and Tyler; five great grandchildren, Camren, Bailey, Hollie, Brycen, and Madycen; and one brother, J.W. Stewart.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Patricia Ann Hedgpeth; granddaughters, Victoria and Ashley Bernard; sister, Bessie Joan Oliver; brothers, Leroy Stewart and Rusty Stewart.
Memorial services will be conducted 12 to 1 p.m. for visitation and funeral at 1 p.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at Bross & Spidle Chapels, 208 S. Jefferson Kearney, Mo.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Bross & Spidle Chapels. Dinner following with dishes welcome please.
