He honorably served 6 years in the Army, including two tours in Vietnam. He lived in Kansas for many years before finally settling in Kearney, where he has lived for 20+ years. He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia.
Harley loved his family and friends, golfing, shooting pool, throwing darts, camping, canoeing and annual trips to Winfield Music Festival every September. He was a friend to many and we hope you will come and celebrate his life on July 28 at Fat Boys, one of his favorite hangouts.
There will be a wake to celebrate Harley’s life held at Fat Boys in Kearney on Saturday, July 28, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at woundedwarriorproject.org.
