Peggy Lou Stafford of Excelsior Springs passed away suddenly on Sunday, September 16, 2018. Peggy was born April 18, 1944 in Lawson, Mo., to Cecil and Ruth Clevenger.
Peggy was retired from the Excelsior Springs School District after 24 years of employment. Her favorite pastime was watching football, preferably with her grandson, Aaron, followed by a phone call to her son, Jeff. Wow, how the three of them love football season!!!
She is survived by her son, Jeff (Sherry) Stafford of Clermont, Fla.; grandson, Aaron (Ali) Stafford of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; granddaughters, Amy (Josh) Neal of Clermont, Fla., and Tiffany (Tim) Ryan of Tampa, Fla.; great grandchildren, Kenzlee, Camden, Gavin, JR, Lydia and Zachary; as well as a brother, Larry (Joann) Clevenger of Lawson, Mo.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the Living Word Church in downtown Excelsior Springs starting at 1:00 p.m., where she was an active member.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Living Word Church.
