Doris Amelia Willis, 88, of Excelsior Springs, passed away October 27, 2018.
Doris was born July 19, 1930 in Boonville, Mo., to John C. and Amelia (Timm) Edwards. Doris worked for many years at Job Corps. She also worked as a bookkeeper and various other jobs. She was always a hard worker and did what was necessary to take care of her family. Later in life, she was in charge of the card ministry at Church of God.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Nancy Krueger; sons, Joseph Hilden, and Bill and Diana Hilden; step-children, Barbara Offutt, Kathy McElduff, and Dorian Willis. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Denzil Willis.
Doris will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Excelsior Springs.
