Albert G. Willis, 81, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away at Liberty Hospital on December 4, 2018.
Albert was born October 30, 1937 in Fairland, Okla., to Albert E. and Fern (Dalton) Willis. Albert served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He later worked as a web printer. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Excelsior Springs, Mo.
Albert was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Tammy Lynn Willis and Kathy Wright; and step-daughter, Peggy Lee.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy (Dye) Willis of the home; daughter, Debra Smith of Polo, Mo.; son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Debbie Willis of Lawson, Mo.; grandchildren, James, Frank, and Jessi Smith of Kansas, Brian and Tyler Willis of Lawson, Mo., and Kathy’s children, Jeremy and Daniel. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 10, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Excelsior Springs, Mo., with visitation from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Mo.
