Clinton Robert “Bob” Estes was born May 16, 1945 and died September 24, 2019, at the age of 74. Bob was a Vietnam Veteran, having served in the United States Navy for a total of 20 years, both active and reserves.
Bob married the love of his life, Mary Louise Brunke, on May 24, 1986. They lived their married lives in Excelsior Springs, Mo. Bob worked at Gilmore for 20 years, Job Corps for 15 years, and Brunke Hardware. Upon retiring Bob continued to work alongside his wife. Bob was a long standing member of the Church of Christ of Excelsior Springs, and also regularly attended the Primitive Baptist Church with his wife.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents, step-dad, and little sister.
Bob leaves behind his wife, Mary, of the home; two sisters, Diana Ross and husband, Charlie of Liberty, Mo., and Karen Springer and husband, Scott of Claycomo, Mo.; four nieces and 13 nephews; an aunt, Ruth Spencer of Hume, Mo.; cousins, and countless other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, Excelsior Springs. Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday, September 27, 2019 at the funeral home, with burial in New Garden North Cemetery with military honors.

Mary: My condolences to you and your family. I often commented on how you and your husband were inseparable as you drove down the road in your red truck. I have long respected that display of love. May God give you peace and comfort in your time of grieving.
