Terry Floyd of Lawson, Mo., born on June 8, 1958 in Springfield, Mo., died on February 22, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital at the age of 61, surrounded by loved ones.
Terry worked for OPAA at the Lawson School District for 18 years. Her family and friends were everything to her.
She is preceded in death by her father, Ernest Looney.
She is survived by her two daughters, Amber Ploe and husband, Chris Ploe of Troy, Texas, and Melissa Mugg and husband, Mike Mugg of Sedalia, Mo.; six grandkids; mother, Virginia Looney of Lawson, Mo.; sisters, Tracey Gulley of Kearney, Mo., Sandi Stocks, Deidra Jesse, and a brother, Jim Looney, all of Lawson, Mo., and their families.
She was loved dearly by many and will be greatly missed.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 27, 2020 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the United Christian and Presbyterian Church in Lawson.

I am the oldest granddaughter of Terry Floyd. We all called her nonny tho and she hated it when anyone called her grandma. Me and my family very much thank you for letting her be known. She is missed dearly and was loved by all. She was by far the kindest women I have known.
