Juanita M. Diehl, age 77, of Lawson, Missouri, passed away quietly Tuesday, March 10, 2020 after a lengthy illness.
Juanita was born on November 14, 1942 in Franklin County, Kansas. She was the only daughter to Floyd and Dorothy (Green) Hackett.
Juanita was married to Charles Raasch on November 12, 1999.
Juanita worked for banks until the 70’s, she then started working at Raasch Western Wear in Lawrence, Kans. She worked there until they closed the doors. She then went back into the banking business and worked at FDIC for many years. She finished up her working career at Farmland in Kansas City.
She loved her animals, particularly horses. She was happiest trail riding with friends. Charlie and Juanita always went on at least 2 or 3 week-long trail rides each year. This is where they could enjoy riding horses, camping and spending time with friends.
Juanita was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Charles.
Juanita is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Diehl) Hastings and husband, Dale, Lawson, Mo.; son, Darrin Paul and wife, Tracie, Bothell, Wash.; grandchildren, Kassandra Murray, Kansas City, Mo., Hailie and Hannah Paul of Bothell, Wash., Cody Hastings, Rayville, Mo., and Melissa Lehman, Rayville, Mo.; as well as many other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held 1 p.m., Monday, March 16, 2020 at Highland Cemetery, Ottawa, Kans.
In lieu of flowers her family has asked that contributions be made to Alzheimer’s research.

To the family, sorry to hear of Juanita’s passing. I hadn’t heard from her in years. I knew she was in Mo. but never made it down to see her. I remember her from when we were kids and went up to se her and her folks.
