John A. Sullivant, 72, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away June 24, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital.
John was born April 13, 1948 in Wendell, Idaho, to Junior “J.C.” and Julia (Washburn) Sullivant. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus. John loved gardening, ham radios and most of all his family and visiting with friends.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Junior “J.C.” and Julia Sullivant.
Survivors include his sister, Judy (Dale) McCall; nephew, Benjamin (Stacie) McCall and great nephew, Nicholas McCall; niece, Molly (Aaron) Barlow and great niece, Olivia Barlow; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and friends.
John will lie in state from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2020 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Hillcrest Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to St Ann Catholic Church in Excelsior Springs.
