Edith Frances (McDaniel) Tarepin

Edith Frances TarepinEdith Frances (McDaniel) Tarepin, 90, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away September 5, 2020 at Liberty Hospital in Liberty, Mo.

Edith was born June 5, 1930 in Elmira, Mo., to Howard and Frances (McKinney) McDaniel.  On April 1, 1950 she was united in marriage with Waite Lee Tarepin, to this union four children were born.

Edith was a homemaker that enjoyed sewing and was a member of the VFW auxiliary.  She attended Salem Christian Union Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Beverly Tarepin; brothers, Rollie Dee and Wilbur McDaniel; and sister, Shirley Miller.

She is survived by son, Ronald Tarepin Sr. of Winston, Mo.; daughters, Cheryl Graham of Richmond, Mo., and Carol Huffman of Lawson, Mo.; brothers, Dean and Earl McDaniel; sisters, Mary Ann Miller and Joyce Marrant; 14 grandchildren, a multitude of great and great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Cemetery, in Excelsior Springs, on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. with public viewing at Bross Spidle Funeral Home from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday morning.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

So sorry for your loss. Edith was a beautiful woman. She will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers for Ronald, Cheryl and Carol and the rest of the family. Edith was a very sweet woman. May she RIP and God Bless her family.
