Sherry Herrick, 66, of Excelsior Springs, Mo., passed away on October 6, 2020 at Liberty Hospital.
Ms. Herrick was born February 4, 1954 in Kansas City, Kans. She loved spending time with her family and keeping herself busy. Her grandchildren were the light of her life and will carry on many memories of their Nanny.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Sammie Lancaster.
Survivors include Sherry’s daughter, Shawna McAfee and her children, Amber Waters, Seth McAfee, and Gabe McAfee. Sherry had a great granddaughter, Brecklyn Waters, shortly before her passing. She has two sisters, Pam Thompson and Terry Myers, each with their own children. Many people will miss her presence and her kind heart, she was loved dearly.
There will be no funeral or visitation services, per her wishes.
