Carolyn Sue Lytle was born in Milan, Mo., August 2, 1953 to Emily Mae Holloway and Lloyd Holloway. She grew up in Laredo, Mo., and later moved to a farm outside of Laredo.
She was married to Robert John Lytle on September 5, 1981. They moved to Excelsior Springs in the early 80s. In 1990 she gave birth to her only child, a daughter named Holly.
Carolyn is survived by her husband, Robert; daughter, Holly; and three grandchildren, Hunter, Luna, and Damien.
Carolyn was a home maker and part time beautician. She enjoyed taking care of her family. Carolyn and her family enjoyed traveling frequently over the years. Carolyn was a hardworking and caring person who will be missed dearly.
Carolyn will lie in state from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., Monday, January 11, 2021 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, Mo. Cremation.
