Jean Ann Shepherd

Jean Ann ShepherdJean Ann Shepherd, 71, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 5, 2021, to be with her Lord and Savior. Jean was raised in Osborn, Missouri and maintained residence in Missouri for her lifetime. After earning her degree in elementary education from William Jewell, Jean went on to teach in Lathrop for many years before refocusing her life to various entrepreneurships. God blessed Jean with so much success in her life and in return, she honored Him by devoting her life to spreading His word.

Jean was married to Marvin Shepherd until his passing in 2018. They were blessed with many wonderful grandchildren and great grandchildren. Together, they enjoyed spending time with their family, walking the beaches of Turks and Caicos, and vacationing in Texas to see their daughter. Jean had a love of animals and adored her dog Coco.

Jean is survived by her children, Rebecca and David, as well as her youngest brother, Ron Rogers. She also believed her family included her brothers and sisters in Christ and was known to develop deep relationships with many.

A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Lawson, MO. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 10, 2021 at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Lawson with a burial to follow at Lawson Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
