Earl Lee Shook, 65, Lawson, MO, passed away July 22, 2021.
Earl was born Oct. 2, 1955, in Kansas City, MO, to Jim and Margaret Shook. He graduated form Excelsior Springs High School. He served in the Marine Corps from 1972-1976. He also served in the Army from 1988-1992. He was united in marriage to Misty Baxley on June 6, 2020.
Earl enjoyed trucks, motorcycles, and cars, especially Mustangs. Whether it be working on them, drag racing, or just taking them out for a drive. He also loved football season particularly the KC Chiefs!
Earl was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Misty of the home; children, Eric (Ruby) Shook of Excelsior Springs, MO, Cassie (Mark) Howard of Liberty, MO, Kenna and Xander Mavel of Lawson, MO; grandchildren, Caden Howard, Tristen (Steven) King, Drew Shook and Braeden Shook; brothers, Don (Roxann) Shook of Lawson, MO, Richard (Jacky) Shook of Kansas City, MO, David Shook of Smithville, MO, and sister, Linda Schwab of Independence, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, MO. Visitation will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 29, 2021, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO.
