Patricia Darlene Wilson, 82, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away in her home on February 11, 2022.
She was born February 7, 1940, in Excelsior Springs, MO.
Pat owned and operated several businesses before retiring to her home on the family farm. She and her husband, Roger, enjoyed raising German Shepherds, many of which became long-term members of the family. She was a devoted mother and loving wife.
Patricia was an only child and was preceded in death by her parents, Romaine and Alma Thompson.
Survivors include her husband, Roger Higgerson; her five children, Stephen Cohoon (Roselyn), Dale Cohoon (Bonnie), Susan Cohoon, Sherry Yeary (Jason), and Sandra Hart; six grandchildren, William Cohoon (Christy), Chad Gillispie, Cassandra Cohoon (Rontai), Amy Cohoon, Paul Cohoon (Samantha), and Victoria Tadic (Dejan); and seven great-grandchildren, Robert Cohoon, Blake Gillispie, Chantai Hart, Lucas Crowley, Damon Tadic, Leyla Cohoon-Shobe, and Nico Tadic.
A celebration of life will be held on a date to be announced later. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Excelsior Springs Hospital Home Health and Hospice.
