Rosetta Adele (Edison) Downard passed away Saturday, February 12, 2022 at the age of 69. She was born December 1, 1952 in Kansas City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Luster L. Staten; mother, Vivian J. Staten; and brother, Roger D. Staten.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. Edison (Nikki) and their children, Staten and Cordia Edison; sister, Joy Alderson (Gary); niece, Brooke Nebel (Josh); niece, Desiree Walden-Chastain (Robert); and step-mother, Alma Staten (Brock).
She graduated Lee’s Summit High School in 1970 and attended William Jewell College where she studied accounting. Rosie loved her grandchildren and her family, square dancing with the Tea Cup Squares and Greg’s Gang, genealogy, Yell County historical society, reading and Arkansas.
