Terry Lee Cline Sr., 75, of Elmira, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away April 21, 2022 peacefully in his home surrounded by his loving family.
Terry was born on October 13, 1946 to William and Agnes Cline in Kansas City, Kansas. After serving in the Army, he moved back to Kansas City, Kansas, where he later moved to Elmira, Missouri in 1990 and spent the remaining years there.
In 1972 he met Cynthia, and they wed in 1974, going on to have two boys, Terry L. Cline Jr. and Clyde William Cline.
Terry was a force of nature, determined to provide for his family and give them the life he felt they deserved. His family meant more to him than anything else in the world. He was unendingly proud of Terry Jr., Clyde, and Cindy and always tried his best to support them and made sure they were careful in all that they did.
Terry was also a passionate fisherman and hunter and could often be found enjoying these passions when he wasn’t at home. Anyone who knew Terry knew that he was the most helpful friend, often putting his needs second to those in need. He was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for.
Terry was predeceased by his mother and father, William and Agnes Cline; brothers, Dwight “Sonny”, Gary, Raymond, and William “Billy”; and sister, Phyllis Wheeler.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Cynthia Cline; sons, Terry L. Cline Jr. and Clyde W. Cline; and grandchildren, Jett and Alyson Cline-Brooks.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Monday, April 25, 2022 at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, April 26, 2022 at Elmira Cemetery, Elmira, MO.
