Richard “Richie” Arthur Dobbins III

Richard Arthur Dobbins IIIRichard “Richie” Arthur Dobbins III, 30 years old, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away Monday, May 23, 2022 in a car wreck.

Richie was born Monday, April 6, 1992 at Liberty Hospital, the son of Richard Arthur Dobbins Jr. and Pamela Gene Parker.

He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Beulah Dobbins; grandfather, Jimmy “Bulldog” Anderson; nephew, Brayden Eli Hacker; and stepdad, Perry O’Dell Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela Parker (Jack Garrison) of Excelsior Springs, MO; father, Richard Dobbins Jr. (Kristina) of Gilman City, MO; grandparents, Marilyn Brandon (Les) of the home, and Richard Dobbins (Virginia) of Kansas City, MO; brother, Justin (Elizabeth) Dobbins of Excelsior Springs, MO; brother, Jerade Dobbins of the home; sister, Sasha Dobbins (Christopher Patrick) of Carrollton, MO; sister, Sharee Cantrell (JJ) of Excelsior Springs, MO; stepbrothers, Maxwell and Zack Hovation; nieces, Skye Dobbins of Excelsior Springs, MO, Peighton Dobbins of Excelsior Springs, MO, Taelor and Ava Patrick of Carrollton, MO; nephews, Jaden and Dalton Dobbins; stepdad, Burt Reffitt of Excelsior Springs, MO; and his beloved dog, Angel of the home; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Richie loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, family get-togethers, and playing with his nephews and nieces. He always gave everything 110% no matter what it was. He enjoyed listening to country and church music.

Richie loved his family very much and had a heart of gold.

I went fishing in the golden river of Heaven.  Please do not hurt for me, remember and heal with the good times and memories we shared.  I will keep a fire going for when we meet again in Heaven.

A memorial visitation will be held from 11 to 12 a.m., Thursday, June 2, 2022, with service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO.
