David W. Mills passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at the home of his sister, Sue Boone, after a short battle with lung cancer. David was born on June 2, 1963 to Robert S. and Helen “Elaine” (Brock) Mills. He loved God, his family, and his country and has said that he would have gladly put his life down for any of them. He was an U.S. Army vet and served in Korea during peace time. After his discharge from the army he worked as a mechanic.
David was preceded in death by both of his parents; one brother, Richard Stanley; and his children, Jessica and Jeremy Mills.
He leaves behind his daughter-at-heart, Lindsey Mines; and his grandchildren, Avery and Carson; his sister, Sue (David) Boone; his brothers, Ralph, Roger (Pat), and Paul (Debbie) Mills; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Graveside services for David will be held Sunday, June 12, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Union Cemetery, Orrick, MO. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project.
