Donnie Ray Campbell

Donnie Campbell, 65, Lawson, MO. passed away July 26, 2022.

Donnie was born January 13, 1957 to Don and Joyce (Barnett) Campbell in Lexington, MO. Donnie was a role model to many and dedicated so much time to the youth of Lawson from coaching sports teams to treating you like family and there to offer kindness and an encouraging word. Donnie retired from Ford Motor Company. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars but most of all he enjoyed his family!

Donnie was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Nevin McNeely; step-father, Danny Seely; brother, Scott Seely; brother-in-law, Roger McNeely; niece, Kerri Lewis Brock and life long best friend, Larry Mills.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet; daughter, Angie (Dusty) Smidt; daughter, Dawn (Wes) Carpenter; son, Kyle (Cortney) Campbell; son, Brett (Hillary) Campbell; grandchildren, Dakota, Preston (Bethany), Tallon and Rydge Smidt, Bailey (Dylan) Wade, Braden Carpenter, Brystan Locke, Bella Popplewell, Jordan Knutter, Destiny, Easton, Kyson Campbell, John Godley, Caelyn, Chasyn Campbell, Hailey Godley; great-grandchildren, Ellori, Ivy and Kambin (Bo); father, Don (Linda) Campbell; mother, Joyce Seely; mother-in-law, Imogene Jean McNeely; sister, Pam (Steve) Zumalt; brothers, Steve and Mike Seely; sister, Kim Sochocki; brothers and sisters-in-laws, Joyce (Frank) Adams, Opal (David) Lewis; Linda (Stan) Phipps; Steve (Penny) McNeely, Alice (Rick) Lammert; James (Jennifer) McNeely, Jenny (Dave) Siebert, Mark (Lori) McNeely, Teresa McNeely and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Monday, August 1, 2022 with memorial service following at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home Lawson Chapel, 214 N. Pennsylvania, Lawson, MO. A private family inurnment will be held at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, MO.
