Shari Lydia Davidson, 58, of Lawson, Mo., passed away October 5, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her family, after a long battle with cancer. Shari was born on June 25, 1964 in Independence, Mo., to Judith C. Brosam and Willis Brosam. She was a graduate of Fort Osage High School in Independence. Shari was an EMT for MAST before retiring from GEHA as a claims adjuster after 25 years.
Shari was united in marriage February 17, 2012 to Brandon Davidson, of the home. She leaves behind one son, Stephen (Amanda) Cramer of Grain Valley, Mo., and four daughters, Brooke Nelson (Eddie Castle) of Raytown, Mo., Alexandra (Tony) Carrasco of Excelsior Springs, Mo., Ashley (Frankie) Moore of Lubbock, Texas, and Kyra Davidson of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; sisters, Brenda (Roger) Helm and Loretta Luizzi; brothers, Mark (Margie) Brosam and Larry Brosam; grandchildren, Audrey Castle, Dayton, Declan and Demi Cramer, Nicole Chavez-Delano and Ronnie and Ethan Moore; and many nieces and nephews.
Shari never missed an event for her children. She enjoyed watching Brooke perform in the Kansas City Orchestra playing the cello, Stephen playing football for Lawson High School, and the many horse shows with Alex and Ashley. Her children were her whole world. Shari enjoyed spending time on her farm that she shared with Brandon, gardening and playing with the many animals.
The family is holding a celebration of life on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her residence.
