Bonnie Jean (Simsheuser) O’Leary, of Holt, MO, passed away July 15, 2023. She was born June 14, 1943, in Kansas City, MO. She married her childhood sweetheart, Tom O’Leary, on June 9, 1962. Bonnie worked for Gilmore Hose Company in Excelsior Springs, MO. She enjoyed tending to her beautiful flowers, plants and working in her yard, going to casinos, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Marguerette Simsheuser; her sisters, Charlotte Coleman and Lucille Mendez; and her son, Daniel O’Leary.
Survivors include her husband, Tom O’Leary of the home; her children, daughter, Diana (Kerry) Savage, Lee’s Summit, MO, and son, Tom, Jr. (Michelle), Kearney, MO; grandchildren, Josh (Nicolle) Mick, Holt, MO, Caleb (Staci) O’Leary, Lee’s Summit, MO, Cole O’Leary, Gladstone, MO, Jessica Vandenhull, Kansas City, MO, Dan O’Leary, Jr., Kansas City, MO, and Dylan O’Leary, Kansas City, MO; great grandchildren, Azley Mick and Markus Mick, Holt, MO, and Summer O’Leary, Lee’s Summit, MO; brothers, Ron (Linda) Simsheuser, Independence, MO, and Michael Simsheuser, Kansas City, MO.
