Tabitha Jane (Russell) Due, 90, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away December 6, 2023.
Tabitha was born August 6, 1933, in Millville, Missouri, to Wray G. Russell and Nina L. Haynes. She graduated from Excelsior Springs High School, class of 1951. She met her husband, Herbert Morgan Due at Lake Maurer skating rink and they were united in marriage March 1, 1952.
Tabitha had a heart of purest gold, selflessly taking care of her family. She loved cooking and sewing clothes for the kids and later the grandkids. Her “therapy” was working in her flower beds. She would not let a day go by without a bowl of vanilla ice cream.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and her great grandson, Ashton Michael Hagey.
Tabitha is survived by her son, Dennis and daughter-in-law, Jane; son, David; daughter, Deborah and son-in-law, Kelly; grandchildren, Jeremy, Holli, Steven, Heather, Gwen, Chris, and Ally; 14 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
Services are Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at Bross and Spidle Chapels. The visitation is at 10:00 a.m. with service following at 11:00 a.m. The burial is at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.

Debbie I am sorry to hear of your mother’s passing. We worked together at Avsco for several years. She always came across as shy and very quite. She was a hard worker though.
