Glennon Paul Oidtman passed away on May 14, 2024. He was born July 18, 1935 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born during the Great Depression. His father was the first generation of Oidtman in the USA. Glenn’s grandfather immigrated from Germany on the ship Columbus.
Glenn worked hard his entire life. He was a Plant Manager for various book binderies in Central, Missouri, Kansas City, Missouri, and Richmond, Virginia, before returning back to Missouri before retiring. Glenn was very active in making docks, remodeling homes and making rollers for docks.
He is survived by his beautiful wife, Deanna; his brother, David (Gidget) Oidtman; his six kids, Glenna Oidtman, Karen (Billy) Crull, Kurt (Lisa) Oidtman, Gina (Cliff) Martin, Sherrie (Bob) Walter, and Shelley (Paul Bill) Kloeppel; his grandchildren, Tanya, Bradley, Stefanie, Justin, Krystal, Christopher, Kevin, Matt, Brent, Kristin, Lindsey, Kyle, Kelsey, and Corey; plus many step grandkids and great grandkids.

Glenn, I have known you for so many years and have a lot of good things that I could say about you. You taught me a lot about boating and water skiing. You had a good heart and treated your friends just like they were a part of your family. You are going to be missed down here on Earth but you won’t be suffering any more, you will be resting in the arms of Jesus letting Him know that you can handle any assignment He or His Father God gives you.
Rest in peace my friend until we meet again,
Leona (Lee) McGinnis
So very sorry for your great loss. Prayers and hugs for Shelley, Gina, Sherrie, and the entire family.
