He enjoyed adventure travel from Canada to South America including The Virgin Islands where he was proud to become a certified scuba diver. Larry drove and rode Clydesdales showing them at fairs and living history festivals.
He cared deeply for his friends and family and would be the first person to give assistance to someone in need. His love and his pride for his grandkids and great grandkids was unmatched. He will be sorely missed but we know he will be smiling down on us.

Lisa, so sorry to hear about Larry. I am sure him and Jim are together in heaven pulling pranks on everyone they know up there. They had a good time at Ford’s doing that. Larry was one of the good ones God gave us for way too short of a time. My prayers are with you and all of Larry’s family.

When I started Country Place Stables in the late 80’s Lisa was one of the first to buy a horse and board it with me— and Larry was right behind her wanting a Clydesdale!
For close to 2 decades they shared my life with all the ups and downs and became 2 of my dearest friends.
I can’t remember ever seeing Larry angry.
Even when he had to really struggle to get up on that huge horse he had!
I made lots of wonderful friends at the stable and I would put Larry and Lisa right at the top.
I will miss you my friend.
