Jimmie Dean Taylor of Gladstone, Missouri, passed away November 4, 2024, at his home in the loving hands of his fiancé of 17 years, Patricia Crooks.
Jimmie Dean Taylor was born December 18th, 1961, in Excelsior Springs Missouri.
He was a union laborer in carpentry. He was a very hard worker. His favorite job was working with Al and Kirk Muehlberger.
He had a strong affection for animals, especially his dogs, Sassy and Worm.
He was a sports fanatic. He really loved his Chiefs and Royals. Jimmie was a very dedicated fan of his home teams, although he could give you the stats of all the teams.
He loved all his family and friends beyond measure. He shared many stories and memories, of honest truth, and many we could say were stretched beyond measure, but we all know that the love Jimmie felt for each and every one of us family or not was never stretched. That will remain
with us forever.
Jimmy’s wings were ready, and we were not. The Lord had bigger plans for him. May he rest in peace in the arms of Jesus.
He is preceded in death by his dogs, Sassy and Worm; father, James S. Taylor; mother, Sarah Rowena Taylor; brothers, Jack C. Taylor and James R. Taylor; sisters, Delores Cates, Mary L. Norris, Betty Cates, and Bonnie Fuller; and many other family members.
Survivors include his loving fiancé of the home, Patricia Crooks; son, Derek Taylor, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; sister, Florence Moss, of Kansas City, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving family members.
A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Elks Lodge 421, South Titus, Excelsior Springs, Missouri.
